Colombia digital nomad visa
Colombia's digital nomad visa, a V visa, lets you stay up to two years working for employers or clients abroad, or your own company. You need three times the minimum wage, COP 5,252,715 a month in 2026, and you apply online.

How to apply
- Apply online through the foreign ministry's visa system, upload your documents and pay the study fee; the issue fee is paid after approval. The visa is electronic.
- Immigration firms say you can apply from inside Colombia if your nationality isn't on the restricted list.
- Then register with Migración Colombia and apply for your foreigner ID card, the cédula de extranjería, within 15 calendar days of arriving, or of the visa being issued if you got it inside Colombia.
Fees and timing
