Project Manager

This is a remote position.

• Project Planning: Develop a comprehensive project plan for website development, including defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with web developers, designers, content creators, and other team members to ensure effective communication and seamless workflow.
• Client Interaction: Work closely with clients or stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide updates, and address feedback throughout the development process.
• Scope Management: Define and manage the project scope, ensuring that it aligns with the client's expectations and business goals.
• Budget Oversight: Monitor and manage the project budget, including tracking expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and obtaining necessary approvals for additional expenditures.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that the website meets quality standards, is user-friendly, and aligns with industry best practices.
• Content Management: Coordinate content creation and integration, ensuring that it aligns with the website's goals and objectives.
• Timeline Management: Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring that milestones are achieved on time and within the established timeline.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to website development and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Testing and Deployment: Oversee the testing phase and coordinate the deployment of the website, ensuring a smooth transition from development to production.
• Analytics and Optimization: Implement tools for tracking website performance, user engagement, and other relevant metrics. Identify opportunities for optimization.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.

Requirements

• Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Project Management is often required. Certifications in project management or web development can be beneficial.
• Experience: Previous experience in managing website development projects is essential. Familiarity with web technologies, design principles, and content management systems (CMS) is often required.
• Technical Proficiency: Understanding of web development technologies, design concepts, and experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Drupal).
