We are seeking an experiencedProduct Marketing Manager with deep security and data platform knowledgeto lead a complete evolution of our messaging, positioning, and technical storytelling. This is a critical role focused on modernizing howDatabahnis presented to the market and helping define an emerging category around AI-powered security data pipelines.

Responsibilities

Content Development & Technical Messaging

  • Lead the creation of highly technical, product-driven content to supportDatabahn’spositioning as an AI-nativeIT andsecurity data platform.
  • Develop architecture diagrams, technical white papers, reference designs, demos, product one-pagers, playbooks, and solution guides for security and data personas.
  • Translate complex technical conceptsintoclear, value-based messagingthatresonateswith CISOs, Detection Engineering Teams, SOC leaders, and Platform/Data Architects.
  • Own the messaging framework forDatabahn’sproduct lines (Highway, Cruz, Reef, AI Foundry, Smart Edge) and evolve it as the product matures.

Customer & Market Insights

  • Conduct deep research into:
    • Security data architectures
    • SIEM/SOAR platforms
    • Observability, XDR, and data lake strategies
    • AI in security operations
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer environments, pain points, and buying triggers across:
    • Enterprise security teams
    • Managed security providers
    • Platform / data engineering teams
  • Partner closely with Product, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to build:
    • Use case documentation
    • How-to guides
    • Technical blogs and whitepapers
    • Customer stories and use case maps
  • Turn customer insights intoclear positioning and narrative directionfor campaigns, product launches, and sales motion.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Growth, Sales, Demand Gen, and Regional Marketing to build campaigns that highlightDatabahn’srole inAI readiness,Cost reduction,Security modernization, andVendor-neutral architecture.
  • Work with Partner Marketing toshowcaseDatabahnintegrations withecosystem partners through co-branded content, hands-on labs, webinars, and technical enablement.
  • Act as the internalsource of truthforDatabahnmessaging — ensuring consistency acrosswebsite, sales decks, analyst materials, partner collateral, and roadmap announcements.
  • Support analyst relations (Gartner, IDC, Forrester) by supplying technical narratives, proof points, and positioning guidance.

Technical Expertise & Thought Leadership

  • Serve as atechnical subject matter expertforDatabahn:
  • Represent the company in presentations, webinars, analyst briefings, and select customer conversations.
  • Support conference content (Black Hat,SecTor, RSA, etc.) with strong technical positioning and storytelling.
  • Help define and evangelize the emergingData Pipeline / AI-Native Fabriccategory.

  • A completely refreshed, consistent messaging framework forDatabahn
  • Strong technical narrative around vendor neutrality + AI + pipelines
  • Sales and partners usingDatabahnmaterials confidently and consistently
  • Clear use-case mapping perpersonaand vertical
  • Recognizable thought leadership positioning in the market
  • Improved MQL → SQL conversion due to clearer story + stronger assets

WhatYou’llBring

  • 5–8+ years of experience in product marketing, solutions engineering, or technical marketing
  • Knowledge of SIEM, data pipelines, telemetry, normalization, ingestion pipelines, and SOC operations strongly preferred
  • Exceptional ability to:
    • Synthesize complexity
    • Create narratives
    • Influence without authority
    • Drive clarity and structure
  • Strong writer with experience producing:
    • Technical whitepapers
    • Architecture content
    • Sales decks
    • Message frameworks
  • Experience working with: Product, Sales, Analysts, Partners, and Executive leadership
  • Strategic thinker + hands-on executor — can move from vision to asset creation quickly
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment
