Position Description & Requirements WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO:At Radiology Partners (RP), our brand shapes where radiologists choose to build their careers, which practice referring physicians trust and which partner hospitals and health systems choose for radiology services. As AVP, Marketing and Communications, you will be the central leader for RP’s family of brands, including RP Clinical Services and Mosaic Clinical Technologies. You will be accountable for the brand strategy, architecture, positioning and identity that strengthen our reputation and advance our growth priorities. Marketing and Communications is comprised of key functions, including Brand Management, Brand Experience and Digital Marketing. This role helps set the strategy, goals and quality standards for each function. You will be a trusted partner to clinical, operational, product, technology, growth, and you will work hand in hand with the Strategic Communications team so that what we say, how we look and how people experience RP all tell the same story. In radiology, credibility is earned with physicians first. The right person for this role is as comfortable earning the trust of a radiologist practice leader as they are presenting a brand roadmap to senior executives and is energized by building something that lasts. AVP, MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS - POSITION SUMMARY:
- Serve as the central leader for RP’s brand, communications, marketing and digital efforts, responsible for holistic development, integration and execution of a broad range of planning and implementation activities to support the strategic direction and positioning of RP and its leadership.
- Provide day-to-day leadership for internal teammates and external teams/vendors responsible for the development of brand, communications, marketing and digital experience activities on behalf of RP.
- Serve in a dyad relationship with the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Communications and Health Policy, and lead and facilitate the Brand Experience Physician Support Board.
- Cultivate RP’s organizational voice and lead holistic communications and marketing strategy to ensure all audience channels embrace and reflect the essence of the RP brand and that modalities (owned media, earned media, multimedia, social media, marketing communications, advertising, internal communications and crisis communications) are integrated effectively, produced efficiently and focused on driving results.
- Provide leadership and consultation for practice leaders, physicians and teammates to develop internal and external communications and marketing strategies to support positive brand experiences, teammate engagement, change management and crisis management.
- Identify internal and external communications, content and marketing opportunities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them, including challenges and emerging issues related to brand and reputational risk.
- Establish and manage outside partnerships with communications, PR, marketing, brand agencies and consultants and lead all PR and media efforts including press releases, media pitches, media inquiries, media resources and crisis communications.
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Significant, progressive experience in brand management and marketing, typically 12+ years, including at least 5 years of people leadership.
- A track record of success in healthcare and/or technology organizations
- Demonstrated experience launching new brands and revitalizing established ones.
- Experience leading brand strategy, governance and integrated brand activation in a complex organization with many stakeholders.
- Experience partnering with creative and brand agencies and managing budgets, timelines and quality across multiple initiatives at once.
- Experience in radiology, medical imaging, physician practice, health system or health technology marketing, especially marketing to physicians.
- Experience bringing AI-enabled or other technology offerings to market alongside clinical services.
- Experience managing a complex family of brands, whether across international markets or by bringing acquired or local brands into one architecture.
